Pardon me while I enjoy a little whine.
I had a little tear-fest today and confessed to Hubby that I was feeling a bit over whelmed at what was coming around in the next two weeks. Besides the general day to day grind of cooking and trying to clean along with working and being Ala's teacher, the dog is in respiratory distress and is scheduled for a 2 hour and $300 appointment at the vet Monday, I'm no closer to being caught up with my class than I was a month ago, I haven't even thought about starting the taxes (I do this number every year), and the laundry was piled to the ceiling. Hubby gave me a hug and told me to sort the laundry and he could at least do that for me. He's a good laundry helper. I think he enjoys it because he gets to sit in front of the television while clothes are cycling through the washer and dryer.
If I could only get someone to do my payroll class for me, I'd be in good shape. Since the plug was pulled on the accounting project at work (the only reason I took this class), I'm finding motivation hard to come by. Yes, I should do it for my own personal enrichment. I'll most likely never use it. I'd rather drop it than continue the torture.
Thursday was a particularly warm day, and hubby sits in his little home office with no less than a dozen computers, printers, monitors, routers, and other electrical things that I can't identify, pumping out heat into the room. On this day, he decided he'd had enough sweltering, so he flipped on the AC. Guess what? No AC. Guess what? My house requires a massive overhaul before some strange man gets to trip lightly through my living room to the thermostat.
A mere two days before, the dishwasher decided to bite the dust. So, we're washing dishes by hand. It's not the end of the world, but it does do a number on my aching back.
This most likely means the trip to Branson next month to see the Irish dancers will be no more.
Sigh.

Wow you certainly are overwhelmed. I hope you get things worked out. I always dread the possibility of big expensive things breaking down one after the other. Hope there is nothing seriously wrong with your pooch.
I'm sorry :(
If I could help you out I would.
If it helps any, we don't have our taxes done and I just realized today that my certification expires tomorrow and I still have CEs that needed done.
Hang in there.
Thank you, my dear friends! It gets better.....
