Hubby took Alatariel to see Dark Knight this evening.... at the Imax. Our original plan was to see either Bride Wars or Mall Cop, until Hub said something about the Imax showing. That sealed the deal.
We did see Dark Knight at the "regular" theater when it was first released. Ala, however, went with the preconceived notion that she would not like the movie. She didn't bother to pay attention through the first half of the movie. When she finally woke up, she realized this was actually pretty good, but she'd not paid attention to the plot and was a little lost. She had wanted to see it again, but we never went. Hubby fixed that problem yesterday. I opted to let them have a father-daughter date night, and I got my jollies at Pets Mart, Wal Mart, and Reasor's. Yay.
Ala called me the minute the movie was over, and was literally about to hyperventilate. She said seeing the movie at Imax was just beyond good. She wants to go again.
Well, we'll see.

I have to be honest, I didn't care for the movie. It was way too long, I thought it would never end.
I agree, it could have used an intermission!
