I had a note from Mom in the mail, and in the envelope with the note was a ten dollar bill. The note said something along the lines of: "When I stayed at your house five years ago, you bought me a bottle of medicine, and I never offered to pay you for it. I've been feeling guilty all these years. Here's some money to make up for it."
Huh?
A bottle of laxative that I bought in 2004 is the least of my concerns. I don't know what's up with her, and I don' t know what kind of response to give.
Big sigh.
Better news: Look what I found in the yard yesterday.....

Pretty flowers, we have a lot of those coming up here too.
It's your Mom...put it in your pocket and don't worry about it.
I can hear your kitty purring. So pretty!
I gave it to Laurel. She's going to put it in her savings account.
Callie needs a new farm.... can I bring her to you?
Love the kitty and flowers.
I think Moms just do strange stuff sometimes.
