It was a long weekend, but lots of fun! TDD danced all four performances, and she had a blast. Unfortunately, at the third performance, her foot rolled again and now she's on the couch with big owies.
She still managed to dance the fourth performance, after four ibuprofen and some one-on-one time with a couple of cold packs. She thought she might sit that one out, but once the music started, she just couldn't do it. We raced off to the car to get her dress, got her all dolled up, and she got in a jig and a reel before the night was done.
When Monday came, so did the pain, so Mom got on the horn and set up the bone scan that her orthopedic person said he wanted done. My baby girl now glows in the dark. Today I took her in for the scan. My, my, there are some big hot-spots on her legs. I hope there's something to "fix" and not just "go home and rest for six weeks." Been there, done that, didn't work.
Two of my bitty kittys are not doing well. Everyone recovered from their "crud" except Duckie and Ralphie, who happen to be the favorite kittens. Go figure. Took Duckie to the vet today who said it could be panleukemia, but couldn't say without lab work. He gave us some meddies, and if they don't rally in a few days, it's either do it or forget it.
Right now I have three black feral kittens captured in the big dog cage. They're going in the guest bath for a few days. (Guest bath! HA! I wouldn't let a Guest in that bathroom right now! It's been living quarters for a dozen kittens for the last five months.) If they'll socialize, we'll add them to the list of cats that we can't find homes for. If they don't socialize, I'll take them out to the lady who wants barn cats but can't keep them around.

I hope Ala bounces back real quick. It really hurts to roll your foot.
More kitties?
Yep, more kittens. Amazing, huh?
I hope your daughter is OK! She looks so cute in that photo. Kitties, kitties everywhere!
