All that and twenty-five cents back! What a deal! Can you tell I spent the day at an event at the fairgrounds? Highway robbery and the toothless, greasy-haired person handling my drink cup didn't even smile nor say thank-you.
On a happier note, we did two dance performances, and it was too much fun! I get a serious thrill watching my girl and her classmates dancing jigs and reels. We made an appearance at a local assisted living center where everyone was awake and lucid, had lots of good questions, and visited with the dancers after the performance. That's always nice when the audience shows interest and appreciation! They even invited us back!
Then it was on to Kid's World where we also had a good show. I did a Q&A session with the kids in the audience where they came on stage and asked questions. We had several come up to the stage. It would be cool to pick up some new students from the Kid's World appearances.
Tomorrow, another Kid's World event, then on to the mall to dance in the hall. Unfortunately, it looks like it's only going to my girl and one other who's able to make it. Ouch. It's going to be a tough day.

Fairgrounds and places like that are soooo expensive. I guess that's where they make most of their money.
Sounds like your little dancer is doing great!
