Update from Rednek Holler

I didn't have a particularly interesting photo to post. As a consolation prize, I decided to post a photo of some numbskull pilot-wanna-be from SPARTAN AERONAUTICS in Tulsa who is, in this photo, blatantly breaking FAA regulations of "You'd better keep your sorry airplane above 500 feet, even out in the booneis." We have this problem a lot. They always apologize and promise never to do it again. And they keep their promise - at least until the next take-off. I would love to see Spartan become a victim of The Failing Economy. Maybe once Osama is crowned Grand Pubah of the United States, we'll fall to into a financial tail spin and Spartan will bite the dust.

I'm not bitter, but I do have several Bibles and I love my guns.

I've been spending my free time loading paper into the laser printer and producing thousands of dance school flyers for a huge event happenin' this weekend: Kid's World. Sponsored by the Tulsa Global Alliance (which, frankly, I find a little discomforting), the dance team will be manning the Ireland booth and passing out information about our dance school. While I'm not into the Embrace all Cultures and Lifestyles stuff, this is a great opportunity to give our group some exposure. We've lost some dancers over the past several months through relocations, and we need to shore up the ranks.
Apparently there will be gazillions of kids come through the Expo during this 4 day event. I've run off five thousand flyers and next I need to make some complimentary dance lesson tickets. I hope this generates some interest.... I just hope that all five thousand kids don't show up at the dance studio on the same day. It could be a tad crowded.
We danced (I say "we" like I was right there dancing with them - now THAT would draw some attention!!) for a homeschool parents group this evening and had some moms show interest.
Hubby and I spent Saturday at Wanenmacher. The place was seriously packed. I gave Hub permission to buy some, um, "hobby" items. He said that, as he was standing at the vendor's table filling out the necessary Big Brother paperwork, the remaining items similar to his purchase sold out during the time it took him to make the transaction. It was surreal.
That pretty much sums up the excitement here at Rednek Holler. Ya'll have a safe and satisfactory good night.

Good luck at the Expo. Wouldn't it be (kind of) funny if 5000 kids showed up?

I have several Bibles and love my guns too. Right now I'm in "watchful" mode.

I have the Bibles but no guns. My brother has several guns though, does that count?
