Today I'm thankful for the sturdy walls of my home that are keeping the cold winds away from my stuffed-up head.
I'm happy that I can pick up the little black kittens without having my face shredded. They don't like me picking them up too much, but the are at least allowing it. The are fluffy and kinda long-haired kitties. I'm glad they won't have to live in the cold this winter, even if it means that my house will get even messier, and will continue to, well, have a funky aroma. Oh, well, you can't provide shelter to twenty-some-odd kitties and have a Martha Stewart home. Someday I'll get ahead of the cat crowd and things will get back to normal.
Whatever "normal" is?
I'm thankful that hubby puts up with it all!

We'll just call you the Cat Lady. That North wind cuts through you like a knife.
