Wild Child

It purrs! It does so very loudly, too. This one of the three feral kittens living in the bathroom is acclimating nicely. We took a stroll around the house today with very little stress, and even sniffed some of the other cats. Once I stepped back in the bathroom, it struggled to get away. Seems like it reacts to the fear of the other two.

I picked up the turducken today. It looks, well... interesting. I hope it's worth the sixty-some-odd-dollars that I paid for it. Seems like a lot, but I guess once you price three birds and the stuffing and spices, it makes sense. Somewhat.

We also stopped in the new Chili's at Tulsa Hills for lunch. It was swill. OK, maybe not completely. The appetizer was good. Hubby said his burger was good with the exception of being slathered in mayo. My broccoli cheese soup was not very flavorful, and my Caesar salad was served in a piping HOT salad bowl. I sent it back, but by the time they brought me a cold one, I was pretty much finished eating. Ala ordered quesadilla's (and if I misspelled that, I apologize) which were filled with strangely seasoned beef parts and very strong grilled onions. The beans that came on the side were too salty to eat. The rice was just nasty. So much for that place.

Now we're home. I just announced that I'm headed for the sewing room and Hubby is guilting me for it. Sigh.

My nose is plugged and my throat hurts from coughing and I don't feel like playing tonight.

I'm glad one of the kitties is calming down.

I've heard of turducken but have never had it, sounds interesting.

Maybe the cooks at that particular Chili's were having a bad night.
