I stopped by the supplement store and left my application with my friend. He called later and said the district manager wouldn't pay me any more than she would pay an inexperienced, untrained new hire. One side of me says "(profane expletive) them!" The other side says, "Take it anyway and show her!"
I know my friend would love to have me there. He sounded very disappointed that she was unwilling to pay more. "Think of your other employees," she said. Ya, so? "Salary DOE?"
I'll have to have a serious discussion with hubby about it.
The day's events included a dermatologist appointment where I walked out because they refused to file my insurance. They'd be happy to let me see the doctor, pay in full, and then give me a receipt so I could file if I wanted to. Huh? I told them sorry, I'd take my business where it was more appreciated.
Disappointing day, huh?A trip to the pet store resulted in the purchase of two economy-sized tubs of litter and a new scratching post. Mr. Passive Aggressive Kitty claimed it first thing.
Miss I Adore Cats took a minute to Eskimo Kiss Mr. Passive Aggressive.

Pretty kitties!
We have fits with DH's insurance and filing. They seem to lose more crap than they can keep up with. Very disorganized.
I'm beginning to believe that the whole medical and insurance community is way out of control.
I love the kitty photos, your daughter is very beautiful!
If the government needs something to control, I'd love to see some simplification of medical and insurance procedures.
Thanks, SM. I think she's kinda cute!
