Road Trip

A visit with the kids and grand kids was today's highlight. The new granddaughter, a month old, is a little cuddle bunny, for sure! Grandson is a live wire.

#1Son made stir fry for us - it was tasty and I could have eaten the entire bowl.

The rest of the day was spent fabric shopping, at the movies, and more fabric shopping. I didn't get that much, but Dear Daughter cashed in. Her next project is.... (drum roll).... An Apron! She didn't like what I had in my stash, so she's now the proud owner of five yards of bright pink flowered fabric. What's left over from the apron will go in the stash. She picked up four other pieces of fabrics at the quilt shop. JoAnn's had all their cutting implements half price today, so I picked up a pair of Gingher embroidery scissors. Follow the link to see what will be in stores this October! Way cool.

Alatariel's thrill of the day was seeing "that cute prince guy" in the Prince Caspian movie. I enjoyed the show; #1 said he'd heard bad reviews about it, but I thought it was quite good.

All in all, it was a good day.

It does sound like you had a great day. Gorgeous grandkids!!! We haven't seen Prince Caspian yet, hopefully we will next week.

Sounds like fun.

Your grandbabies are adorable.

That's a whole lot of fabric for an apron. LOL!

Thanks!

Ala said several times today that she had a lot of fun yesterday.

Yeah, so I got enough fabric to make an apron, curtains, and cover the sofa. ;)
