Dryer Dumping

My clothes dryer sits right next to the back door, so it's a convenient place to dump anything that's in your hand going out or coming back in. There's always an assortment of junk and odds & ends on the dryer. I clean it off periodically, but in no time it's cluttered again.

Today I found something really interesting on the dryer, right there behind the bread machine.

Chester found this spot after we came back from the vet. He spent the better part of the morning hiding out there.

I have the weekend off, so I'm planning to go visit my new grand daughter Saturday. That will probably take 15 or 20 minutes. After that, I'll probably go fabric shopping.

I had to mend my old, old khaki slacks that I wear to work at the dollar store, so I ventured into the sewing room today. Man, I need to go in there more often! I love the way that room smells, and it inspires me to sew. Usually I just move around stacks of fabric, but at least I pretend I'm being creative.

I've been working on a project at my day job that requires a whole bunch o' really boring tedious stuff, and I've been finding a lot of other things to do rather than work on this project. Yesterday, the boss informed Hubby that this project was being demoed today, yes today, and 9 a.m. Oh, crap! Hubby made some very convincing excuses for not having the whole thing ready (aside from the fact that he didn't have time to put together a demo, regardless of whether the project was finished). Reality smacked me in the face and showed me that I've taken advantage of my situation and my husband, and I need to stop that stuff right now.

I've got lots of dumping places and I hate each and every one of them.

Poor Chester! I have a small freezer that tends to accumulate stuff. I hope you get your DH's project done, nothing like pressure!

Chester seems to be feeling better today. He's been trying to get outside (no way, kitty boy!).

My other dumping places are: Any Horizontal Surface.

I can't keep up with it, so I finally gave up. Sigh.
