Lazy Sunday

When I say "lazy," I mean "LAZY."

When I emerged from the bedroom after sleeping until 9 AM, Hubby already had the television fired up. We watched The Ballad of Lucy Wipple, pausing the DVR half-way through to pig out on waffles and ham. After the movie concluded, Hubby channel surfed, settling on a Bio of Bruce Willis on the bio channel. I never knew he was such an interesting guy! And a Republican, to boot! He's quite the musician, and took his group to Iraq for a "support the troops" tour.

He made a comment about being Republican and being in Hollywierd. Paraphrase: There are more of us here than you think. You don't know it because we just do what needs to be done. We don't sit around and complain about everything.

You rock, Bruce-baby!

Anyway, by this time it's 1 PM, and my plans to tidy the bedroom and plant the plants was long behind schedule. I bopped off to change clothes, and I don't really know what happened after that. I think I checked email, answered some mail from #1Son, and was sucked in to the Cyber Black Hole for the rest of the day.

I crawled out of the hole to catch up on 2 recorded episodes of Y&R, and now I'm attached at the fingertips to the laptop. Again.

Last night I managed to sort through my boxes of DMC floss and pick out the colors I need for the quilted sampler. I haven't found the piece of Aida that I want to use. It's in a box. Somewhere.

Maybe I'll do that now. Ya. I'll go do that.

My DH and I used to do a lot of cross stitch but gave it up a while back. That project that you're going to do looks really cute!

My son did cross stitch for a while. He did some nice guy-type projects and then lost interest in it. I haven't done it in years.
