Hit the ground running

I had my first day on the new part time job. My training consisted of: "This is how you clock in. Call me if you need anything."

It was actually quite fun. We were absolutely slammed all evening. I checked people out, one after another, for three hours. I thought initially it was due to the first of the month. The assistant manager who worked with me said no, they usually stayed pretty busy. Wow!

Cat bites are healing nicely. I whacked my bitten knuckle last night chasing Bitsy around the house. Rather unpleasant. Other than that, mobility is returning. I might live.

Now I have to survive the Augmentin.

I'm going to start a load of clothes in the washer and got to bed. I hope that the cats and the weather alert are quiet tonight. No such luck, I'm afraid!
