OUCH!

Today I was the epitome of clumsiness. It started raining a short time ago. I'd been out to feed the feral cats this morning and remembered I hadn't brought in the cat food. I didn't want it wet and ruined, so I sprinted out to the table where the container sat, and sprinted back. Well, my sprints up the steps were ill placed.... I slipped and crashed head-long into the front door knob! Aaagh! At least I had the good sense to duck, so the blow was delivered to the top of my head, not my nose or eye. So, here I sit with an ice pack sitting atop my stinging little head. sigh.

Missin' ol' Hub today. He's still at the office, even though The Boss is out of town. I think Hubby is coming home tomorrow, but he's still not sure.

He's so frustrated with the Indians. They do such stupid things and then get upset when they are asked to fix them.... they say it's an enhancement to the software, a change in specifications, and it'll take more time and money. (rolling eyes, snorting disgustedly) Ya know how, on web pages, you can click a box and it gives you a drop down menu full of things to select? He found one of those menus in the software that has a Big Boo Boo. Say you were selecting a state from a state list, and you picked NY. Well, they wrote the program to look up FL. Pick TN? Look up FL. Pick AL? Look up FL. Oh. My. Goodness. This is "Programming 101, Day 1, Lesson 1" stuff, and they're messing it up. Amazing.

I had new kitty pictures but I lost them. They're on my computer somewhere, I just kinda forgot where I stashed them.

I woke up at 5:30 am today to the tune of a huge cat fight in my living room! After Callie had her conjugal outside time yesterday and I closed her back up in the bathroom with the babes, I apparently didn't get the door securely latched and she got out. Wow! When I came out of the bedroom this morning, cats and fur were flying all over the place! She was hot on Baby Kitty's tail, and he outweighs her by a good 5 pounds. She didn't care who was the bigger cat, she was out for blood. I guess her protective kitty mommy instincts took over. I have new respect for little Callie. Fortunately for her, everyone survived the adventure unscathed, and she's now secured in the bathroom again. I won't make that mistake again!

I have been the queen of procrastination since Hubby is gone. My house is a mess, Ala and I are out of good things to eat (Cheetoes and chocolate), and the cats are out of food and need a change of litter. Ten cats in the house make for lots of litter changes, even if six are babies. And, I'm tellin' ya, I've never seen a cat poop like Callie does. I scoop out things that would make a St. Bernard proud.

Going to Hell Mart. (groan)
