One more Thursday behind me. About a dozen more and I'll have 50 years' worth of Thursdays behind me. Maybe that's why my behind keeps getting larger. It's all those Thursdays I keep tucked back there.
Today was class day. So far I have an A. It was such hard work, too. I had to write a paragraph about the role computers play in my life, past, present, and future. The I had to show that my little program worked - the one that I copied as he did it on the overhead. Believe it or not, there were people in class who didn't get it, even after he did the work for us. Scary.
We're doing face-to-face interviews tomorrow. I've been doing employee search this week and Hubby did a few phone interviews. Now it's down to sitting in the same room, deciding who we want, and seeing if they can be talked down from the off-the-chart salaries they're asking for. One man is asking for almost 10K more than what Hubby makes, and Hub's been there almost a decade. How do you work with someone who waltzes in making more money than you do after giving days, nights, and weekends for so long? It puts my stomach in knots.
Ala was here alone watching Sixth Sense this evening while I was gone. She said she was getting kinda freaked out watching it, and suddenly the dining room light came on. She almost had a come-apart! Turned out that one of the cats got on the table and stepped on the remote for the ceiling fan light and switched it on.
I didn't scoop the St. Bernard's box today. I bought a new bucket of litter at Smell-Mart this evening, so I think everybody will just get new, clean potties tomorrow. I'm ready for the kittens to be weaned so Callie can go do her big business outside again. (shudder)

Annie, I love Frazier reruns...Dick Van Dyke reruns...I Love Lucy reruns...I guess I just like re-runs! Enjoy them! I must tell you that every time I see that one entry that says "Titleless", I think it says "Titless". Sheesh. Am I getting old or what? Can't even see anymore! I did the Anonymous post on the one entry. It was unintentional on my part. Glad you are doing so well in class too!
Alatariel is a Lucyaholic. I think she needs rehab. We do lots of old movies. Her most recent favorite is "M" with Peter Lorre. It's in German, which is her language of the week.
I think, however, that we're going to be getting a good dose of Stooges. She said she filled her Netflix queue with Stooges DVDs. That's one bunch I could never put up with. Hubby got her hooked on them, so she and he can have some quality Father Daughter bonding time watching them.
Titless! That's too funny! That sounds like something I'd do! You might be psychic, though. The older I get and the more pendulous my TITLES become, the more TITLE-LESS I look!
