Job Interviews

Today we interviewed T. He looks to be mid-thirties, nice, clean-cut, computer-geek. This is good. It's a computer job. At first I didn't like him, but as the interview wore on, he grew on me. He's sharp, enthusiastic, and said all the right things. After the interview, I asked Hub how he liked T. Hub sounded hesitant to commit to an opinion. He mentioned a few nice qualities, and I finally said, "OK, what's wrong with him?" Hub replied, "That's the problem... I can't find anything wrong with him!" Looks like we might have our guy, so long as no one steals him before we get the paperwork finalized.

We have another interview tomorrow. It's possible we might hire two people. I think T. should definitely be one of them.

Oh, ya, Hubby's home! I hope he gets to stay home for more than a week. Doubtful.

Moving is still being discussed. He actually told the interviewee that we were going to move. That's the first definitive statement regarding moving that I've heard from him. I was a little surprised.

Alatariel has been emailing one of DIL's cousins back in the hill country. She tries very hard to be sarcastic and annoying thinking he'll stop writing her. He keeps on writing back. I told her it's because she's not fawning all over him (he's pretty cute). She's just annoyed with him. She first wrote to him last winter, and it took him until last month to respond, and then it was to tell her he had a girlfriend. She thought that was rather rude and has been repaying him ever since. The whole thing is very comical.

My head is very sore. Do not fall into door knobs.

Got to go tuck in Ala and then I'm going to hit the sack. Fun interview day tomorrow! Woohoo!
