Scary, huh? I've barely gotten a good start on it; it'll come down. I hate that Turbo Tax displays that ginormous number at the top before all the deductions, etc, go in. Hubby never fails to walk by and have a mild coronary at the gazillion-million dollars we start out oweing.
MIL is nicely tucked into her new place. I left her with lots of boxes to unpack, and with instructions to not over-do it. She'll still have to make one more trip, but she first needed to see how much room she has left. Her living space has downsized by more than half.
I took MIL phone shopping yesterday - showed her the nice flip phone I'd seen with the over-sized numbers and large display. She was very pleased with it, even pointing out that the model that came in wine color didn't reflect light (a problem with the silver phone she had), which made it even easier to see the key pad. La and I got Banter phones. Hubby doesn't get a new one since Boss gave him a Blackberry on the company account. His personal phone will go away in a few months when his contract expires.
I should have mowed today but never made it out to see if the mower would start.
