I thought we were done with the rain for a few days. One more dumping is on its way. Maybe I can still mow Monday evening.

Tomorrow MIL goes back to the city. Yay. I was a little short with her yesterday and spilled the beans about how much the phone bill was. That's a lot of gossip, I told her. (She thinks she's above gossip, but I bet everyone on this side of the county knows I chewed her out.) The most irritating thing was that she didn't even take responsibility for it. It was Kate's fault because she didn't like to be the one calling all the time (free incoming calls, how stupid do you have to be to not get that?). It was also Maxine's fault because if MIL called Maxine, why Maxine just goes on and on and on. It surprised me to see that Maxine has moved in with Kate, because all those hour-long calls were to Kate's number! Just wait 'till I see either of them....

Hubby and La are at the ball game. Something I ate disagreed with me in the worst way, so I stayed home. 'Course, about half an hour after they left, I was feeling better. Oh, well, Dad and Daughter need some bonding time occasionally. Drillers gave away ball caps to the first 1500 people. They got me a cap. :)

Tomorrow is a silent auction for the players' jerseys with proceeds going to the American Heart Association. I'll tell ya later if we bid on one. Since opening bids are over my limit, well, we might have to wait until next time.

That is what I like about you, darlin'. You get these things out in the open and dealt with. I'm one who sits and dwells and festers. Not a good thing, but certainly no confrontation either. I am so not good at that! Glad Ala and Dad got some together time yesterday too. I may just have to drag myself out to a ball game in the near future. Just for pure love of the game...

We got a good soaking last night too. Need some drying out time now.

Hubby (trying to avoid conflict) told her she could keep the phone but only use it in emergencies. We'll see. We're down to 300 minutes left out of 1000.

Still pretty wet here... went out side in my sock feet and they got soaked.
