I didn't take this photo. I googled sheet lightening and this is one that came up. I don't know who the owner is, but thanks for letting me use it!
This is what the sky looked like over the ball field at tonight's game. It was awesome, and it was close!
We had more rain this evening. My yard hasn't been dry enough to mow in two weeks. The clover is shin deep and the bermuda stalks (I think it's bermuda) are knee high. If we lived in town, the neighbors would be complaining. If we lived in town, I'd tell the neighbors that if they didn't like it, they could mow it themselves.
Spent all day driving to OKC, getting MIL's landline set up, troubleshooting some other issues that she can't (or pretends she can't) comprehend. Took her to the dentist where she got her broken tooth fixed. She liked the guy, so that was cool. Visited with #1 Son, his wife, and her daughter. Oh, my granddaughter. Yeah. I almost forgot. Dined at McDonald's. The dollar menu is a life saver. Came home, got out of her car and into mine, went to the game, got home some time after 10. Harvested my Farm Town crops (Ala thinks I'm so lame), and did a little surfing.
Happy Birthday, Judy!!!!
Got a scathing email from one of the dance people. Resignation letter is close at hand.
Going to bed.

Eee...I hate scathing emails or anything else scathing. Who needed that after such a long day? But you got to the ball game and I know that was fun! Did Laurel go along for the trip? (School is on now, isn't it? Sheesh...I lose track now that my girls are out on their own.) Love the photo; great find!
Laurel stayed home to do her school work. She wants to go on Saturday when I take Mil back, but that depends on how much junk MIL packs in the car.
We had fireworks like that last night. No damage though. DH is out mowing our damp lawn right now.
