Hooray!
The Boss's brother (hereafter TBB) had a Lab who was hit by a car last week. The story goes that TBB found the dog post-accident, and was really crushed by the event. Apparently he shed a lot of tears over the loss of the dog.
Hubby is spending the week at the office out west, and Boss told Hubby to bring the dogs with him. TBB's wife said she wanted to surprise TBB with the dogs. They didn't know if TBB would want Angus or Tucker, so Hub took both.
TBB saw the dogs today. Tucker came trotting over, and TBB grabbed him and hugged him. He was thrilled! He said Tuck was the one he wanted. TBB's wife said Tucker would be treated like a prince.
Boss said he'd probably keep Angus. Later in the day, one of the girls at the office said her boyfriend wanted a Lab, and he'd be interested in Angus.
Sometime during the day, Boss's son heard about Angus, and he went over to Boss's house and got the dog.
How funny - we couldn't find homes for them here, but so many people wanted them there. I'm almost sorry that Princess wasn't still here so she could have made the trip, too.

That is wonderful! I'm glad you found good homes for them.
When did Princess go? Where did she go? Now...I have a Bloodhound and a Carin Terrier that need homes...if I can wrest them away from M. They are driving me bonkers and are completely untrainable.
Did I miss reporting Princess? She was adopted last week by a young man who had another Lab.
