Thankful Thursday

We had some great rain yesterday! Gentle, a little windy, nonetheless appreciated.

I'm thankful that Gustav didn't wreck the coastline again, and oil prices only skyrocketed for a few days. Now that oil has come back down, I'm looking forward to being thankful for gas prices coming back down. Hurry up, guys, my gas tank is empty.

My Irish dancer made it through an hour of dance last night, so nice to have her dancing again (really, you have no idea how nice it is!).

I'm always thankful that we have food in the fridge and a roof over our head, a car that runs and a husband who stays home at night (I used to have one who didn't). We don't always have exactly what we want to eat, but we never go hungry (you can tell that from my backside). I try to never take for granted (although I frequently do) our blessings that can only come from God.
