I baled the hay in the back yard today! Took close to two hours and at least two passes to get it all cut. The lawn mower choked and died a few times. I guess John didn't make his Deer tough enough for chest-high Johnson grass.
I have a little green basket that's been trying to find its way into the trash for weeks (along with a host of other junk & clutter items), but the kitties enjoy it quite a bit. One or another is usually lounging in the basket at any time during the day.No sewing today. Did some errands this morning, napped this afternoon, mowed this evening.
I was supposed to call Job2 today and discuss getting more hours, but the boss was gone by the time I got around to calling. I don't want more hours. I just want everyone else to stop telling me when I want to work. I want the schedule to stay unchanged for three consecutive days so I can plan the rest of my life. At this point, I'm inclined to tell them that I'll stay as an "as needed" and "Christmas help" employee, but that might be stretching it. After seeing the list of dance performances and fund raisers that was sent out this weekend, I don't think I'm going to have time for a second job.

Sounds like your life is full enough without a second job to contend with. Especially one that gives you so much trouble.
He and I are going to talk Sunday about my schedule. I suggested he find someone else and keep me as an on-call and holiday person.
