It's Finished

Taxes have been e-filed, the pork barrel donation is in the mail, MIL's stimulus payment forms are on their way to California, and now I'll start converting Quicken 98 to Quickbooks 2008.

I finally convinced Hubby it was time to update our computer. Nothing new runs on Windows 98, and all the old software is no longer supported. Quicken was not pulling up entries when I tried to report on them. I could find the entries in the check register, but they wouldn't report. Made things tediously slow.

Friday I ordered a Dell Vostro 200. Sounds like a sports car, eh? I hope it runs like one!

Someone is coming out tomorrow to fix the Dish. Finally, Y&R with no static!

Today I booked tickets for Bill Cosby who will be in Tulsa next month. Cool!

We're going to Branson the first weekend in May for Ala's birthday and to see the Irish crafts and the Feet of Fire show. Awesome!

No word from the dollar store. Oh, well. After I slept on it, I wasn't too jazzed over it, anyway.

If we have a credit card that's not maxed by the end of next month, it'll be a miracle.

Yay for having the taxes done and out of your hair. I know I was relieved.

Bill Cosby, Branson, and a new computer too! I'm jealous. ;)

Needle tatting is fun and not too terribly hard. I finally gave up on shuttle tatting and just went with the needles.

You won't be when the credit card bill arrives! It's like, "OK, just this one more thing and then we'll stop apending..."

I'm enjoying the tatting until it comes time to close a circle. I get tangled up and my knots look wonky. I'm blaming it on lack of experience.
