Ebay vs. Etsy

It's long been The Plan to sell things on Ebay. I've just never gotten around to it because Ebay is SO big and has SO much J&C (junk & crap). I don't know if anyone would ever find me.

Then Aunt Jo started talking about Etsy (it's true, I rarely have an original idea) so I've been looking around there. I've made some fabric purchases, read some of the forums, and so on. This might bet a better venue for my little baby blankies and things that I make. I'm still in the thinking phase.

I'm also thinking I'm going to dump my "Annie's Meadow" company name that never got off the ground. That name was for herbal soaps, lotions, and potions. I need something more hand-made sounding, which can still do soaps, lotions, and potions. I've got a few ideas I'm tossing around. Just have to register the names. This time I think I'll actually form an LLC since I'll eventually throw candles into the mix. Don't want someone burning down their house and suing me for it.

I took a pictures of Callie and the yellow kittie this afternoon. All these cats look alike. Makes me wonder if they're all related.

Yellow kittie is a pretty guy.

I conquered the accounting red dot problem. I have the latest version of Excel and it doesn't read the homework spreadsheets that apparently were done in an older version. I can move the spreadsheets to one of our old computers with old Excel and things work much better.

That doesn't help with the tax forms that I have to fill out manually. No nagging red dots on those when I have something wrong.

And yes, I know the formatting on this post might look a little retarded. At least it does on my computer. It'll just have to stay retarded.

Lots of fabric on sale at Hancock's and JoAnn's. Guess where I'm going this week???

Etsy would be the perfect place for your blankets.

Love the kitty photos they do look like they came from the same source. Hee, hee. Your blankets are so pretty, surely they would sell. I'm glad you worked out the homework thing.

I think I'll probably give Etsy a try eventually.

Thanks, sm. When I'm old and gray - oh, I'm already gray - I'll probably be the crazy angry hermit cat lady that everyone whispers about, points fingers at, and ducks into stores to avoid passing me on the street.
