NOTE: I started this post Saturday and am putting it up now so I can move on.

I'm making very little headway with my homework. It's slow and painful. I do NOT understand why I can do a series of calculations on payroll, each varying only in the earnings amount - the rest remains the same - and some answers are correct while others are wrong. It's not even an issue of fat-fingering the calculator. It's an Excel spreadsheet and the formulas are cut & paste. It makes me mental.

Ala and I went to the gift store in Sapulpa yesterday for a look-around.

We found lots and lots of pretties.

And a few uglies! Who in their right mind.....

Next photo taken with my phone... I couldn't convince to focus on the necklace and not the background!
We saw these necklaces at Whole Foods Market, formerly Wild Oats. Sidebar: I'm very annoyed that Wild Oats was bought by WFM as WO had some store brand products that I really liked, and now they're gone forever. Back to the necklaces - silk thread with a few groups of three beads on each strand, approximately 18-20" long, not even sterling findings, $35.00. I can make that puppy for less!!!

Love the teacup. I'm not sure about the second picture. Is it a rooster or what?

Get cracking making necklaces. Your fortune might be just around the corner.

It's amazing some of the things that people will buy!

I'm not sure about the cookie jar, either. It mostly reminds me of a cartoon quail. I can't imagine there's much demand for cartoon quail cookie jars.

I'll have to go back in a couple of weeks to see if anyone has purchased it.
