Oh, Yeah....

Have I mentioned lately that I love my cats?

Poor little Curly is about the homeliest little cat I've seen in a while. He's a tough cob, that's for sure! We named him Curly because his color pattern makes him look kinda bald (Three Stooges' Curly). He's the biggest of the kittens, the most resistant to the girls' affections, and, it figures, he has the softest fur.

Then there's sweet little Molly. She's just a princess. I must take a shot of her rear. She looks like she has white pantaloons under her black dress. Everyone needs to see a photo of my cat's butt.

Class was short tonight, but not short enough. I had all my work done, but the instructor had to spend an hour helping people who didn't have their work done before I got to demo my assignments. Once that was done, I was outta there.

Gas was $2.89 when I went to class tonight, and anywhere from $2.96 to $3.09 when I got out. There's a little Habib station in Kiefer that's usually the last to go up. I was lucky enough to get there before they raised their price. I topped up the truck. Too bad it'll only last a few days. Sigh.

I found an old Singer treadle that is in awesome condition that I told Hubby I want for Christmas. Now I just have to whine enough so he'll get it before it disappears.

The cortisone shot in the spine was approved and I'm scheduled for Monday afternoon. Gee, just can't wait.

Job interview is next week, too.

Then just need to wait & see which doors and windows God sees fit to open and/or close.

More kitties, I love kitties. They are beautiful. A shot in the spine does not sound like a wonderful thing. Makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Apparently it's a common treatment for back pain that's been around for 50 years. I wouldn't think it's any worse than getting an epidural when you're in labor (and by the time they got around to giving me those, I was READY!). If it'll get me back in my walking shoes, then it'll be worth it. Last time Alatariel and I went walking, I got 1/2 mile down the road and my back got in a stitch. Thought I was gonna have to crawl home!
