Yippee!

I have bag pieces parts laying on my dining table! The most fun so far has been making that little snip in the sheet, and then RIIIIIIP! To heck with cutting. I ripped those suckers right down the grain. I have some old flannel sheets that are pilled and unpleasant to sleep in... I'm going to try insulating one of the bags with a flannel lining for transporting cold stuff. I'm also going see if mitering the corners will give it a flat bottom. And I want to make one deeper with over-the-shoulder-length straps for taking to the mall.

Went to the doc today for a "follow up" on my lab results. Kinduva waste of money, since she'd already told me the results over the phone. I did get a script for fever blister medicine. I've always used topical ointments and she gave me the Other Kind of medicine (the kind in those annoying commercials that come on during the family hour). She said 2 at onset and 2 after 12 hours will keep 'em from flaring up. Wish I'd had these before Bell's Palsy. I'd also lost 4 pounds (probably more but I'd eaten) and the bp was down. She told me to take fish oil for cholesterol. I was certain I'd come out with a Lipitor prescription.

We made the trip out West and back in one piece. It was crowded but cozy. We had fun - lots of laughs and giggles. Nice family time.

Hub says get to work on the house so we can move. :) Boss is dangling a big carrot..... flying lessons. I want to get out of the mobile home. After 10 years, it still has chemical stink, and I wonder what contribution that has made to this emphysema/fibrosis issue?

I may skip the garage sales tomorrow. I want to sew.

I'm glad your trip was a pleasant one. The bags sound very interesting. Old sheets can be useful for a lot of things. So it sounds like you are really moving.
