Life Served Sweet

La's dance school had it's annual recital today. It was interesting. Enough said.

We made a quick (uh-huh) stop at Oklahoma Quiltworks and came home with a stack of fat Q's (among other things) that La will use to make a rainbow skirt. <-that's a link to the skirt....

Ralphie update: They moved him upstairs where he's away from the dogs, and he's starting to settle in. He's bonding with the two boys still at home, and he's finally showing his sweetness. Whew! I was really worried for the little guy.

We visited a bit with #1Son and family. Mrs. #1 didn't seem particularly interested in being social, and she spent most of the time ragging on #1.

I got a friend invitation on my myspace page from my niece. I haven't seen her in several years, and my brother doesn't do much in the way of talking about family. Seems she's now married, has passed the Bar, and is working for a big law firm in my old hometown. Cool!

It's been a long week. I'm going to bed.
