Round and round and round we go. Wherever we land, nobody knows.
Hubby had a phone interview today which he described as "totally tanked." He said they made sure to tell him they had gazillions of applicants in all stages of the interview process. They promised to get back with him sometime next week. Hubby thinks it's pretty much over.
Now he's talking about moving West again. I agreed, providing Boss will put me in the accounting hen house and get me out of programming. Really, I don't program well. I couldn't begin to pull it off in the office. I don't think they'd let me take my sewing machine in.
Alatariel is ready to move. She's been lurking around Mama K's website checking out her son.
I just want a decision to be made. I'm not thrilled with our living location, but it would be so danged much work to move all the crap in this house. Hubby says we should just move the house. Wellllll, I don't know. I'd really like to have a garage, an attic, and a king sized fireplace that doesn't smoke up the house.
Speaking of smoking fireplaces, remember the night that all the smoke blew back into the house? When the fireplace technician came to sweep the fireplace walls and collect his $300, he asked me to turn off the humidifier that was sitting about six feet from the fireplace. He said it was affecting the draw of the chimney. Hmmmmm. I'd bet a set of fireplace tools that the humidifier had something to do with our evening of smoke inhalation. It's since been moved to the other end of the living room.
Mark your calendar - I did a little housecleaning today. Now I'm going to go do some more.

It's nice out here in the west or southwest that is.
I can mark my housecleaning on the calendar too, usually when we take a vacation.
Move the house and then sell it when you find one you like.
I'd love for you to move out here.
If I became the Wicked Witch of the West, then I could fly down on my broom and visit Schnauzermom!
Considering the Economy In Crisis, moving the house may be the way to go.
I think it living out there would be very nice.
