First Day at the Old Job

Last night I reported for my first day back at the old job at the vitamin store. Granted, I'm not the manager this time around. That's good in one respect. I don't have to deal with the corporate mess. However, I see the other employees walking all over the man who is current manager. I'm afraid he's too nice to keep them in check. I want to say something, but it's not may place. What to do?

We enjoyed a very nice thunder storm Thursday. It didn't daunt the hummers. They stayed right at the feeders. (Yes, that's a lamp reflecting in the window).

Hummingbird migration has started. We have a bout twenty visitors at any one time during the day. We're making about a gallon of nectar a day. By the end of the month, the back yard will be swarming. By this time next month, we will have used over fifty pounds of sugar.

We're struggling with what to do with all the cats when we go to the Kansas City feis at the end of this month. I posted an ad on Craigslist for two of the kittens. I got one bit from a lady who wanted to know if the cats had been vaccinated and altered. Uh, free kittens? I think not.

Need to get moving. I'm working tonight and need to get some chores done.

We got a really nice rain too!

I love hummingbirds, my FIL has a couple of feeders for them. They are fun to watch.

I hope you find good homes for the kitties. I wish I could take one but DH is allergic.

I haven't seen many this summer.

I miss you. Did you fall under a pile of vitamins or what?

Oh, bless you! I've just been overbooked with life junk this week and haven't found my way to the laptop much!
