Babies' First ChristmasThis evening Alatariel was telling me that she and her dad were going Christmas shopping for me, and she wanted to know if there was anything in particular that I would like. I mentioned that the Hallmark store in Sapulpa (more than just Hallmark items) would be a great place to look. She could probably find a number of things there.
She whispered, "Like Fenton?" She started talking about how, someday, she wanted to get me a really nice piece of Fenton, something very expensive, but for now she'd probably not spend more than $75. I told her that was too much - to keep it under fifty.
She said "No, seventy-five, or maybe one hundred." With that she wrapped her arms around my neck and said, "because you're worth it, Mom. You give me everything."
Gosh, what piece of glass could ever beat that?
