Quick Post

Hubby's already been back here once asking when I'm coming to bed, so I'll be brief (ha).

Autumn Leaves, the funny-named bags are reusable shopping bags that people all over the world are making to help cut down on plastic pollution. The pattern & instructions are on the site, and they're really simple to make. They even have a board where people chat about their bags and post pictures of their creations.

Aunt Jo, I'm going to make some! At a garage sale today, I found two full-size top sheets, nice ones, probably 300 count, pink roses on cream background, that the lady sold me for 50 cents. I should get several bags from that purchase. I'll post some pics of the sheets tomorrow. They're wrinkling in the dryer as I type.

Register a pod, huh? I looked for anyone in Oklahoma who is doing that and didn't find anyone at the web site. If I make a pod, that means I really, really, absolutely have to commit to promise to think about putting scissors to the sheets. Whew! I feel pressure.

Haven't heard from the lady about the candle sticks, yet. Yeah, SMom, it was an interesting break. Must have hit just right. I did get a candy dish today that arrived in perfect condition. I'll do a pic tomorrow. Also went to the Hallmark store in Sapulpa and bought DD a candy dish of her very own. This is quickly becoming obsessive. I spent all afternoon shopping Ebay and looking up prices on the internet to see what I could bid and still get a good deal.

I need to get out more!

Going to bed now!

Thanks for the info and the link then Annie dear! I try to avoid ebay...I always get myself in trouble there! LOL Take care of that cholesterol! Yikes! Mine is close to yours and I shouldn't be surprised in my case. I eat an awful lot of McDonalds and pizza!
