We had some weather this evening! Fortunately, we only got wind, rain, lightening, and a little hail. Some folks around Ardmore were not so fortunate. Everyone is in my prayers.
Laurel tried to call her brother in OKC this evening an only got his voice mail. He hasn't called back yet. I'm sure they're OK, but would be nice to hear for sure.
Hubby said he's heard predictions for an unusually high number of severe storms this spring. Yippee.
Lucky, Duckie, Cocoa, Hershey, and Vader all had their trip to the vet today. Darned if I didn't have that Citi card under $5K, and now I bumped it up again.
Note To Self: Do NOT save any more kitties!
Poor Vader had a time of it. We thought it was best to catch him last night and lock him up rather than trying to do it this morning. Poor guy isn't too social to start with, and when the three of us started chasing him 'round the house, he turned into a wild kitty! I had him once, and he turned into a flying ball of fur and claws, leaving numerous wounds on my person! We finally trapped him again and got him into the bathroom for the night. This morning was the same routine, but poor Vader only had the toilet to hide behind. He got shoved into the carrier with the other four cats, and fur and claws we flying again! They eventually calmed down, and off we went.
Coming home was just as exciting. Kitties hurt, they growl and hiss at each other in the carrier. But home is where the fun begins! The kitties smelled like the vet's office, and all the other kitties didn't like it at all. We've been breaking up cat fights all evening.

I'm glad you didn't get hit by the severe weather. Poor kitties, trips to the vet are no fun.
