Stuff!

We spent the day Saturday rearranging the living room. It's an all day event when you consider it involves one very large, heavy entertainment center, one very large, heavy, queen sleeper-sofa, and one very large, heavy grand piano. I keep my "I don't want these to get broken" things in the top of the entertainment center, but to move the darned thing, all the lovelies have to come out. Here are some of my goodies:

Mrs. Albee figurines, circa 1980's
Mrs. Albee figurines are given to Avon representatives who sell mega Avon in one year. No, I've never been that much of an Avon achiever. My step-mil, however, had a very successful Avon career, worked her way up the sales management ladder, and has a trunk full of Avon awards. She gave these to me several years ago for Christmas. They probably mean more than if I'd earned them myself.
San Francisco Music Box
I bought this for Hubby as a Christmas gift in 1998. I took a seasonal job at San Francisco Music Box Co, and everyone got music boxes for Christmas that year! That was also the catalyst for my long descent in to Retail Hell... but that's another story! The music box plays Laura's Theme (Hubby is a big Dr. Z fan). We spent a lot of time that winter watching and feeding the birds.
Coffee Service
I've had this for years, and I don't recall if it came from my mother or grandmother. It was made in Occupied Japah. One of the cups was broken and glued back together. One of the saucers is faded. Other than that, it's in excellent condition.

Roseville Pottery
I have no idea if the sugar bowl came with a lid. This set was in Mom's kitchen cabinet over the fridge for as long as I can remember. She finally gave it to me a few years ago. It's one of my most treasured posessions.

Wow you have some really cool stuff. Very pretty and fragile I can see what you want to keep it in a safe place.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have more clutter than cool stuff!
