It's been a busy/fun week. Between Job #1, Job #2, German class, dance practice, workshops, performances, and a trip to Stillwater to watch the Miss Oklahoma State University pageant, The Dancing Daughter and I haven't spent much leisure time at home.
One of the dancers from the OKC school, a young woman who is a superb Irish dancer (even qualifying for Worlds held in Ireland each year), participated in Miss OSU. By golly gee whiz, she won the darned thing! I believe she's the first to compete with Irish dance as her talent. She's an admirable young lady, and I'm just thrilled for her. We're all excited that's she's competing for Miss Oklahoma.
Sadly, I can't find a thing online about her win.
Now it's Monday, and another week of class, dance, and work is ahead of me. The dance dress is too big, and I've started alterations on it. What did I say about never sewing confetti dot again? Famous last words! I'm dreading doing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the second job. Having NO free days makes the week drag. Fortunately, Sunday is my very last day there, forever. Never going back. It's gotten too weird.

Ala looks gorgeous in her smashing dress. You did a really good job.
Your daughter does look very pretty! I don't blame you for quitting that job.
Thanks!
