....when you're running around like a headless chicken.
It's been an interesting week. I took the Dancing Daughter to Stillwater Monday evening for a dance lesson. Tuesday we started Conversational German at the German American Society of Tulsa. Wednesday I took DD to check in with the physical therapist who, after hearing about some new problems that have come up, thinks that my dancer has the start of Compartment Syndrome. Thursday I mowed the lawn. Friday I went to the second job to find that I'd been taken off the schedule for that evening and no one bothered to mention it to me. Hmmmm, third time this has happened. Saturday I worked, and today I worked.Curly has an upper respiratory infection, apparently it's been going on a long time. His eye was looking winky and gooey, so I took him to the vet to find that his eardrum has ruptured. I felt like such a bad mommy! He's on antibiotics and eye drops. Vet says he probably has herpes (who'da thunk it?) so he's getting l-lysine added to his diet.
I set up my kitty adoption page: anniescathouse.blogspot.com. I listed it on craigslist.org, and someone flagged it so it was deleted. I've tried craigslist before and had the same thing happen. Crazy. I relisted, and this time requested that interested parties email me for the photo link. I suppose the link is what killed the first ad, as the second is still up.
Bitsy was adopted yesterday. Bless her heart, she fussed at me all the way into town. Loudly. She was not happy to be cooped up in the little carrier, bumping down the road. I hope she's doing well at her new home. She's such a sweet kitty and I couldn't give her the attention she needed because of the other forty-leven cats in the house. She'll be an only kitty in her new home with kids to love on her. That should be perfect for her.
There's also someone interested in some of the feral kitties. Yay! I'm happy to share my kitties, and they'll have a new barn to live in.

Wow you've been busy. I hope you find good homes for all the kitties. That job sounds like the pits to me. I hope you get things worked out.
Aaaaah, another sweet kitty face. I'm so happy you're finding homes for some of the babies.
It's a slow process. I have homes for the feral kitties, I just have to trap and deliver. If I can't find suitable homes for everyone else, I may just have to keep them all!
Wouldn't hubby just LOVE that!
